Service Description

Our Preschool World Percussion program introduces young learners to rhythm, movement, and sound through joyful, developmentally appropriate music experiences. Designed for children ages 1–5, students participate in small-group drumming circles using hand drums and percussion instruments to explore music in a safe, supportive environment. Through guided musical games, children build early listening skills while discovering concepts such as tempo (speed) and dynamics (volume). Older preschoolers are introduced to simple rhythm patterns inspired by animal names, encouraging creativity as they select favorite animals and improvise rhythms based on each name. Sessions emphasize social connection, turn-taking, sensory engagement, and self-expression, supporting early social-emotional development while fostering confidence and cooperation. Programs are offered in 15–30 minute formats, tailored to each age group’s attention span and developmental needs. This engaging, hands-on experience provides schools with a meaningful enrichment opportunity that supports creativity, coordination, and foundational musical literacy, while giving students a joyful outlet for expression and movement.
